While it’s true that you’ll probably never own a Picasso or a Monet, if you love their style there are two ways to approach bringing that work into your home. The first involves buying a flat, lifeless reproduction of the piece which would lack fidelity of color and funds the ceaseless business of reproducing the work of dead artists. The second way to do this is to find living artists that create work in the style of your favorite artists and collect the work of those artists (even if you have a collection of one piece). The exception to this is of course buying a Limited Edition photograph or a high-quality original print like a serigraph.
