About the Painting

Created in Wexford during Art in the Open event for plein air painters. This beautiful waterlily pond and fountain contained some enormous Koi Carp. The lilies weren't out in the morning but as the lunch time progressed - they all popped out for the afternoon and I was able to sneak a few more in. Since 2013, I have been creating original artwork from my home studio in a range of mediums, primarily oils, resin, ink and pastels and I sell my work all over the world.
