Picasso with his girlfriend 2

About the Painting

The picture belongs to the series "Picasso." Inspired by Pablo Picasso. You have dedicated a whole series of works to Picasso. Where does the fascination come from? I've dealt a lot with Picasso as a person and how he made his decisions as an artist. I think he was very brave. For example, he was the first to dare to neglect the similarity in the portrait. Through him, I was inspired to the "no face" series and had the courage to completely eliminate the faces. Also his life story, especially his lively affairs with women, have developed a series of images in my head. From Artist's Statment at Saatchi Art
