About the Painting
When the COVID-19 pandemic began, I felt like I had so much free time but I wasn't producing anything creatively. I needed to get unblocked, so I went in the studio and just started drawing on the canvas, and then painting. I had no agenda, no plans — I just went with it. That's why I call this series "The Doodles." This is the first piece in the series which has led to my development a new style that I'll be working in for a while.
